The shared showers were super clean, but I struggled with noisy neighbors at night.

the location is decent, but the single room feels more like a closet than anything else. i guess i expected a bit more for my 5-night stay, like maybe a complimentary upgrade or fresh slippers instead of single-use junk. the breakfast options were just pathetic, no real choices. overall, very disappointing indeed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Pocket Hotel Kyoto Karasuma Gojo. The cleanliness throughout was remarkable. the shared bathrooms felt well-maintained and luxurious. Plus, having a subway station right outside made exploring Kyoto so convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

Man, the shared showers was clean and had everything I needed. I appreciated the daily towel changes too. Them folks at the front desk was mad chill, helpin’ me out when I lost my stuff. The air conditioning worked just right, so I ain't complainin'.
